Mazatlan-best fabric for clothing during day in wintertime

During the day, which are the best choices... silk, cotton or there's one other, maybe acetate? material but it's light also? I know cotton can feel hot, but thinking maybe silk would be not warm enough? I don't wear much polyester.

Depends on what time of the year you are coming to Mazatlan at the moment the best thing to wear is a bikini in the pool, it is hot and humid.
