Hello.

Is it dangerous to walk the dunes of Maspalomas at night?
I'm thinking snakes and scorpions...

You don't say where you are coming from, so I'll assume you live in a part of the world where you have to be careful. Your only real danger in bare feet in the dunes there will be from broken bottles or other man-made rubbish that abounds in the world's seas and on their shores.

Gran Canaria has a small number of very interesting (but completely harmless) lizards and skinks, but that's it. Gran Canaria Giant Lizard being the largest. As for scorpions, as far as I can tell, you're quite safe.

You should only be worried (or not) about humans. The dunes are a well known cruising area.
