hello, have anyone tried furnished apartments near baltimore like owings mills or columbia ? we are a family of 5 adults & 2 children meaning we need 3 bedroom-apartment for short stay 3months I have appointment in jhons Hopkins hospital on june 8 and my treatment will take 3 months. is it possible to drive to hospital in 30 mins? I contacted companies leasing apartments such as BUZZOT &Oakwood but unforunately they either rent a minimum of 9 months or 3 months but only 2 bedrooms!!! any advise please especially from locals?

Mom is looking at staying in resort near Jolly Roger Amusement Park. Is there a bus that goes from the ocean city airport to the boardwalk hotels? Is there a shuttle bus service that goes from airport to boardwalk hotels? How far is greyhound from boardwalk hotels? How much is taxi from airport to the boardwalk hotels?

We will be heading to Baltimore from 12/30-1/1 and would like ideas of what to do for New Year's Eve celebration at the Inner Harbor. We've researched options (Sheraton Convention Center Party, Power Plant Live, etc), and are open to them, but we don't know first hand what is the best option....and also feel we might be missing another option that we haven't come across.... My husband and I are flying into BWI in September to visit our daughter and grandchildren in Virginia. We have never used public transportation as we aren't frequent travelers. We need to get from BWI to Dulles to be picked up by our daughgter, so would really appreciate any suggestions for SAFE, reliable public transportation. I have to admit, getting into a car with a stranger driving us through very unknown areas of a busy city, gives ME especially, great anxiety!! Did I mention that I am 69 years old and my hubby is 82? PLUS, we live in a very small town and just aren't that savvy when it comes to travel. But we are longing to see our kids, so are willing to step outside our comfort zone! going thru baltimore tunnel on I95 (S) are the signs clear enough to get me to I195, then I295. I would rather do that then stay on I 95 down to I 495. I don't want to go ALL AROUND I495 (torture).

I'm planning our family vacation to O.C.,MD this summer and was wondering whether anybody would like to share their thoughts/suggestions about the hotels on/close to the boardwalk there. I've read some reviews and to tell the truth I feel kind of disappointed about this place ... I'm not looking for the least expensive but rather for a decent place where I wouldn't have to beg for service and empty my pockets in order to receive it. Thanks! C.

We are planning to go camping on Assateague Island during the second week of April. So I have a few dumb camping questions :-) I have never camped in the US and am used to just kind of finding a spot to put the tent and hang out. Now from looking at the website it looks like it is a bit more regulated. So basically, where do I physically go to pay for the campsite? Are there assigned campsites? Are fires allowed and is April going to be way too cold? Any must haves besides a tent and sleepingbags? And what are the chances of actually seeing the ponies? I know that's a lot of questions and I am sure there is so much more I should be asking, but I suppose it is a start. If you have been there, please share your experiences with me. Thanks a lot!

Hi, I'm looking for an affordable place to spend a week in Silver Spring. The hotel rooms I've seen so far seem expensive.

Heading to Inner Harbor for a 2-3 business trip in a few months and hubby will be joining me. We love to explore the places that only the locals know about. A cold beer, delicious crab cakes, burger -- you know the kind of place I mean. Needs to be in a walkable and safe area from the Marriott. What are your suggestions? Thanks so much!
