My wife and I are planning a visit to Martha's Vineyard in early October. Some recommend against biking. We are strong bikers and love to see the countryside that way. Suggestions?
well Mike if you're both strong bikers, I can't think of a better place to go for it than the Vineyard. You'll find the link below interesting and useful, though. The island is bigger than many people imagine it to be and some routes are demanding. The link also gives you all regulations you need to follow. I think it's great to protect the pristine environment of the Vineyard (hopefully still there! :)) by biking rather than riding a car. I can't see why anyone would recommend NOT to bike there... You can ride a bus to a point up and ride back down on your bikes too. All the best! Beautiful country in Autumn! mvy.com/CWT/External/WCPages...
