which is the best hotel for children 3 to 4 years with a pool and waterslide

Hi - we are for us travelers traveling to Marrakech and are hoping to book a great riad (close to the medina, with rooftop terrace for vies, and also not too close to the djemma el fna ye not too far to walk back at night). I am literally tired of reading the hundreds of thousands of reviews on trip advisor on all of them - there are just TOO many to go through!! Also it seems as if this is a busy time - and the ones I've reached out to seem to be fully booked already. I am on a deadline - so I appreciate any one's advice on this - cheers! Oh price wise I would like to spend $100 USD or so - but any suggestions will do, thanks again. ;o)

I'll be arriving around 11pm in the city and am a solo female traveller. I'm planning on booking a transfer with my hotel, but from what I've read the taxis cannot go all the way to the hotel (as it is in the medina) and I'll have to walk some. Is this safe? Also, are taking taxis as a single female safe?

Hi any one know who i could book day trips with in marrakesh as they all seem to be for more than 1 person. Booked a 4day 3 nights desert trip with gomoco.net but might have regreted it has have read some bad reviews.thanks

Hi - I'm travelling to Marrakech in march - I will be spending two days alone with my children (both under 10) after the two days I will be meeting up with family, so I'm looking for a quite central hotel that is suitable for children, I don't mind star rating or anything like that , more if anyone can recommend a friendly place, I travel a lot and love Morrocco and am happy to be alone - any recommendations of a few exciting things for the kids to do ... ??? Hi there,I`m going to Marakesh at the end of the month and would love some advice on a few things.I`ve a little spiritual ethnic shop in Ireland and I`m hoping to find some products I can send home to sell.If anyone knows some good places to buy and also what the best way to get the products from Marakesh to Ireland reliable and low cost.Also I`m wondering what`s the dress code in Marakesh I know it will be warm enough during the day it`s 2 women going do we need to cover up as in no t-shirts,shorts or vests,Any advice would be great, Thank you

Hi What is the best way to get a taxi from the airport in Marrakesh Airport into town - is there an official taxi rank at the airport? I should be arriving in the late afternoon so it is not unusual hours. Also, roughly how much should the taxi cost from the airport to El Ghoul? Thanks in advance!

Hello, we will be travelling to Marrakech shortly and needed to organise an airport transfer to a hotel on the outskirts of the city (About 8km from the airport). We will be a family of 4 and I was quoted around 400DHM for a return fare. Is this reasonable ? I had heard that a Grand Taxi would cost 150-200 DHM for a 1-way trip so the price seemed reasonable ? Any other opions / suggestions ?

Hi, We're travelling to Marrakech in a couple of weeks, and are strongly condsidering hiring s car for maybe three days. Can anyone recommend a good, reputable,legitimate car hire company that has a presence in Marrakech? Ones that have a web presence (and even better, an online booking system!) would be fab! My husband and I are vacationing in Marrakech (via Casablanca) in mid November, and we're a bit concerned due to the anti American demonstrations throughout the region. Hi everybody!!! I am a woman travelling alone to Marrakech and I would need some advise about hotels. and I would like to stay in a 3 or 4 star hotel in a safe location. Maybe Gueliz is a good option? I only need a clean place to sleep and a Satelital TV (BBC, CNN, etc.) When I travel go out from the hotel very early in the morning and return to sleep. I dont need any pool or restaurant. Do you think woull be safe to take a taxi at night to return from Djemaa el Fna to Gueliz zone alone? Hello VT friends, I am starting to plan my first trip to Marrakesh and wondered when people thought would be the best time of year to go? I can go anytime. I'm English so not used to hot weather and would prefer to avoid the heat but obviously the longer days are better. I was thinking of late September/early October but maybe even into winter if it will be quieter. Anyone who has been off-season or who lives there, advice will be welcome, Thankyou.

Hi there. My fiance and I will be ending a tour in Marrakech on Saturday 29th September, which is the day of the AFL Grand Final back in Melbourne, Australia (our home town.) I was wondering which venues would potentially show the game, since it starts at approximately 5am on the Saturday (Marrakech time.) I am aware that the OSN service from Saudi Arabia shows live AFL games every week, but have no idea if any venues have that, or another service like Al Jazeera sports. Any help would be most welcome. Hi, Were travelling to Marrakesh this summer and were wondering what Jewellery/Ring shopping is like? i.e Are they many retailers/souks that sell such items and at a reasonable rate? Were not sure whether to buy a ring (white gold) now or would it be better to wait till we get to Morocco.
