Wife's surgery postponed, I want to take her away for a week in the sun... need advice!

My wife was set to have serious spinal surgery last week but it has been postponed for a couple of months and she's really upset about the set-back, can't concentrate at work and I reckon a week in the sun would be the perfect tonic. Want to take her away in a couple of weeks time. Thinking about Morocco, should be warm at this time of the year, sounds like an exciting place to visit with lovely places to stay and lots of culture. Has anyone got any opinions/recommendations/advice on where to stay, what to see/avoid? Any help appreciated.
