      cheap transpotation to london

      Paris Apr 30, 2013 at 10:17 AM

Does anyone know a cheap way to get from Paris to London? It seems that there are plenty of reasonable deals going the other way, London to Paris. I need to travel May 8th.
I do have luggage so the cheap business flights are out.
      Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I will be flying in to Paris Charles de Gaulle (Terminal 2B) and have to catch the TGV to Arras.
Is there a train station close to terminal 2?
Can I go direct to Arras from the airport or do I have to go into Parris and catch another train?
      Thank you in advance

      Paris Apr 24, 2013 at 4:41 PM

Has anyone gone to the Jules Verne restaurant in the Effiel Tower? Please share your experience's, food enjoyed....etc. I know there are probably better, and cheaper places to get food. And this is pretty much a tourist trap. But looks to me, if you can afford it. This is probably an unforgettable place to have dinner. In the Effiel Tower over looking Paris.

      Eiffel Tower Access

      Paris Yesterday

Hi, I will be in Paris from July 22 to 30 and was just looking at booking tickets to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Sadly they are all sold out for advance on-line tickets. Will it be difficult to just buy the tickets at the Tower when we want to go? I understand it is summer and Paris will be busy. What about booking any other attractions? Or trains to the Loire Valley (Blois)? Is it best to do this now?

Thank you in advance for any advice.

      Hi,

I intend to visit Paris in the second week of June, to my regret I understand this is too early for the summer sales ("Soldes")... however, where can I get decent quality men's clothes (casual) for reasonable prices, in paris or it's vicinity?

      Paris this weekend

      Paris 15 hours ago

Bonjour! Going to Paris this weekend. It is my first time and of course I have checked VT out for things to do and such. But as it is my first time I just want to go to the well known places.
Also I will go to the French Open on sunday, we finally got tickets last week for Centre Court.

My greatest concern, problem is where to eat. There are so many restaurants and I don't want to eat pizza or somewhere very touristy. (the places were you pay too much for what you get foodwise and service). Just a decent bistro which serves french food and doesn't break the bank. We are staying in the Billancourt area, is there something nice nearby?

NB I think the Notre Dame has seen enough action this week. No more while I am there!

      Hello,

Wondering if anyone can recommend inexpensive hostels/hotels in Paris that don't charge you if you cancel your reservations way in advance of your scheduled arrival (by way in advance, I mean cancelling about one month before your reserved date).

      Thank you in advance!

      accomodation near Train station

      Paris Apr 25, 2013 at 10:17 PM

      Hi all,
We would be arriving at 9.30 am at Paris Est station from Berlin by CNL night train. After spending 3 Days in Paris, we proceed to Switzerland ,(Basel) we have have found

TGV Lyria leaving at 8.32 am from Paris Lyon. Train suitable.

can any one suggest suitable safe locality where to book Hotel /B&B/ apartment ?? so
      1) It is easier for travelling to major sight seeing attractions in Paris
      2) Easier to catch this 8.32 am train from Paris Lyon Station to basel

As we are visiting Paris for the first time, I presume lots of time would be wasted in getting to the right platform, and right train, asking for directions so suggest considering these.

      Thank you all
      Meena

    • Luggage Storage at Marne-la-Vallee Station or in Disneyland Paris?

by louisluo8 Online Now Oct 11, 2012 at 8:35 PM

We will check-out our hotel in Paris in the morning and travel to Disneyland Paris and spend the whole day there. We will then take the TGV train to CDG Airport to catch a 10:00pm international flight. So we have to bring our 4 luggages with us to the Disneyland. Is there any luggage storage either in Marne-la-Vallee station or in Disneyland? Your information is highly appreciated. Cheers, Louis

    • TGV from Charles de Gaulle?

by Dhanchett Online Now Jan 12, 2008 at 4:18 PM

Please help me confirm if there is convenient TGV service between the CDG Airport and Marne la Vallee Cheesy. I find a train which appears to take 10 minutes, and is a reasonable price. Around25/person US. My conern is that no one mentions it on any of the forums, and when you google transit info you ONLY receive the option of taking RER B to RER A and then back out to Marne le Vallee. Is it possible to connect with the free 'pink bus' to our destination, Marriott’s Village d’Ile de France from the TGV station? If not is this an easy taxi ride? I'm concerned that this approach for travel from CDG is not promoted.

    • Eating in Eurodisney New Year's Eve?

by Bing1 Online Now Dec 17, 2006 at 1:47 PM

Myself and my partner are spending new year's eve in Eurodisney. I expect it will be really busy, but I would like to book a restaurant within the park for late lunch/evening meal. I'd like to eat somewhere nice - where we can get a good meal, wine, etc.. but I'm worried there won't be anywhere available or that the meal will be too pricey! I don't mind splashing out a little bit but I'd rather not spend hundreds of pounds! Does anyone know of somewhere, preferably where I can book a table in advance? Thanks
