We will be arriving in Marco the later part of March and my 13 year old daughter really wants to find sand dollars. Does anyone know the best time and place to find these? Thank you so very much for all your help :)
She sells sea shells on the sea shore; The shells that she sells are sea shells I'm sure. So if she sells sea shells on the sea shore, I'm sure that the shells are sea shore shells. I went shell shearching on the she-shaw on Sanibel once and discovered a sand dollar whilst walking in the sea along the beach at low water. I still have it - not even broken as they are quite fragile. I think you need to keep any eye on others as well - sure to spot someone with the same intent.

Get out to the beach early in the morning - the tide and waves will wash all sorts of things ashore. Isn't there a saying about the early bird getting the worm?
