I am planning a trip to Marco the last week in June, and someone told me it is the rainy season there. Can anyone comment on how often it rains, and is it usually late afternoon or morning? Thanks!
June is the start of the rainy season. Worst case scenario, there will be a huge thunderstorm every afternoon. That will be your excuse to go inside to the AC until it clears. Rain will probably be limited to one or two thunderstorms each afternoon. It will for sure be hot and humid.

You can almost set your watch for the late afternoon thunderstorm - usually around 1600, but then it only lasts an hour or less and the steamy weather is back again.

You will definitely experience some heavy duty and steamy afternoon storms. Snook Inn down on Old Marco's a pretty good place to sit them out. Betty makes a great margherita
