Marbella weather & things to do during christmas/NY break

Hi, I am going to Marbella with some friends & family (4 adults, 3 childen (2 - 8 yrs)) during the Christmas & New Year break. Can you pls. advise what the weather will be like and any recommendations on what we must do and see & shop ! Thanks. Do appreciate any help.
