does anyone know the area around the manu centre run by CREES. it is 1 hour down steam from atalaya - is it good rainforest area, or is it necessary to go further down river to get the real manu experience?
don't know. i plan to spend a little under a week at Manu this coming june. perhaps we can exchange info. i was attracted to a 7day non-motor raft trip run by all trek@cusco. barry rosenberg, golden co
