I'd your advice for a budget (under 70 euros a night preferred) bed and breakfast or hotel for Mantova in May. We don't care if the place is simple--we just want it to be clean and in a excellent central location with a bathroom ensuite. Thanks in advance!

Do not think they look at their email every hour, I had some experience to conctact people in other Country by an email. 3-4-5 star hotels have someone who check often the email, but I learnt that for a B&B it would be fine if they look it once a day. Then if they are busy and they 'do not need' more people, it could be possible it takes more, sometime more weeks or never an answer. This I learn from B&B, not only in Mantua (where I stay at home of some friend of mine when I go there) or Italy or Europe.. all over the world, in some places the email seems to be an optional so I took the way to call them by phone using the low fares on internet. be patient :-)
