Steamboat Springs Dec 6, 2014 at 8:00 AM

I am going to Steamboat the 2nd week in January and will need to rent skis, boots, poles and helmet. I know if I want convenience I should stick to the mountain, but it's usually more expensive. Maybe not??? Would appreciate some recommendations, as well as some suggestions for restaurants. Also, which is better for transportation from Hayden airport to Steamboat- Alipine vs. Storm Mountain?
      thank you,
      Susan

My wife and I will be celebrating our anniversary in colorado in May and we are looking for a good discount on a hotel or spa. We are going to relax so the spa would be nice. We want something close to a town. Any suggestions on where we should go?

When I was about 14 my parents and I went to Manitou springs. I remember staying at a place that had small cabins. It was right off the main stretch of road through the town. There was a little creek right behind our cabin. I remember there was a pool that had green sludge in it. I'm going to Manitou Springs next month with my daughters and I want to stay at this place again. (If it's still there. That was 20 yrs ago when I was there) Does this place ring a bell to anyone?

What motels/hotels are the best quality in Manitou Springs? It is hard to tell by their websites. Does anyone know anything about the Villa Motel, Eagle Motel, or Rainbow Lodge? Are any of these worth going to?
