Google 'self catering manila' and lots of sites come up and you can choose according to your criteria. You might also obtain some leads from looking at the tips on the Manila pages on this website. Booking.com might have something - click on the apartment link.

Hey, the "Condo"s" in Manila furnished or unfurnished are to rent minimum for 1 month or more, mostly on 6 months and 12 months basis on contracts for mostly foreigner expats and/or local businessmen ... Even if u gonna find a landlord to rent u the condo for 4 nights, for sure it will cost u much more then a budgeted price ... Here I can give u a suggestion on the link http://makatirooms.com/, so here u gonna see that the price is 2.500p "per NIGHT", lol, so, u better check some other kind of accomodation in Manila, am sure for about 800p - 1.000p u gonna find a decent place to stay .... Try QC (Quezon City), Rizal or Fairview rather then Makati area to get a more decreased price ... Enjoy ur time in MNL ... :)

hi! try to rent a studio type condo unit rather than the one bed room unit (if you are travelling alone) as far as i know the rent will cost you more or less 10,000 pesos (condo rates in marikina) but it depends upon the location of the condo. if its a luxury one then it will cost you even more..

A one-bedroom apartment would cost you 3,000php - 5,000php ($72 -120) depending on the place or location you are planning to stay. I can go with you on your tour or to look for an accommodation, since I'm working as a customer service, I'd be more than happy to assist you with that. How many days will you be in Manila? A week or less just use a hotel or similar place that books rooms day to day. Some countries use the term "apartment" meaning hotel room. Most tourists usually use hotel rooms for short visits and apartments for long duration visits. Apartments usually want tenants who stay for long periods. When you ask for hotel help always say how much per night you want to spend on a room. Use a PHP or US dollar amount. Also know what neighborhood you need this apartment/hotel in. I usually stay in the Ermita area of Manila. But where you stay depends on what you want to do. Need a visa? Visa depends on the passport you will enter with. It really depends on your budget since you're a budget traveler who is looking for cheap apartments. There are pretty good and clean housing, apartments or even condos from around the city. You should know where to stay, I suggest you go for Makati or Pasay. Its near also when it comes to establishments like malls. bars and other night life activities.
