Just send me your budget with chk - in , chk out date , no of people / children and i will work out a good deal for you.

Yes u can cover the places in 5 days. The weather will be perfect, but a little cold in nights especially in coorg/madekeri. The route will depend upon ur arrival point, assuming u arrive in mangalore then the route will be mangalore-udipi-dharmasthala-subramanya-talacauvery-mangalore, if you could give me exact arrival and departure places and dates then i can give a detailed itenary for the same.

seems that you are doing a pilgrimage. From Mangalore( seems you reach Mangalore from Hyderabad), visit Subramania first and then Udupi. These places can be covered by bus/car.You can then further tavel to Dhamasthala. You don't need to spend a night in Subramania , however it is better to spend a night in Udupi as there are some possibilty of some ceremonies in Udipi temple late in the evening. There are a good hotels in Udupi. IN Dhamarsthala too, you can witness the Puja and no need to stay over night. From Dharamasthala you can visit tala cauvery , since not been there can not suggest you much. If you can afford to engage a taxi, it might be possible to cover all in 5days. If you have time, suggest you to visit Shringeri and Horandu that are near by to each other.Shiringeri can be reached from Udupi. Have a nice trip.

sorry one more point...In Jan, weather would be: evenings and nights would be chill but strong sunshine during day especialy in Mangalore. If elderly persons were to accompany you, better to take some warm clothes. Another point is that after visiting Talacauvery, Mysore would be nearer to reach than Mangalore in my opinion. But depends on your convenience.
