Hi, We are planning a tour to Himachal Pradesh (Shimala, Manali, etc.) in November 2011. We will be having small kids (2-4 yrs) with us. So, just wanted to know how would be the weather there in November 2nd week. Mehul

November is pleasant in Himachal though a little chilly in Manali. Bring warm clothing for children. It will be colder in mornings and evening

Shimla's temperature will be normal as it is in the rest part of northern india, with the mornings and evenings being a bit of exception.. However you wil find manali colder than shimla. Going to kullu and kufri can also be a good option.. And by far manali will be the coldest of all. And in all places, evenings and early morning are expected to be chilly. Snowfalls might or might not be seen, depending on your luck and the weather.. Enjoy your stay and travel safe.

Hi, Even m planning to visit Manali by end of november...weather will be chilled and you might see snowfall, usually it snows towards end of december but u might get it at rohtang pass...but i would suggest u not to visit simla...very pathetic place..its my personal experience...i hve been there for 4 times and everytime i hve regreted abt the same...hot weather everytime..its no more a hill station.. All d best!!!

As it will be a winter season there. So you may found low temperature. It is a best time to enjoy skiing and snowfall.
