Hi, I am planning to visit the shimla, manali in the 1st week of March 2008. I will go by car from Delhi to Simla and the manali. I would like to know the Temperature conditions in manali. What will be the min temp will be there? Is there any snow fall will be there? If yes then it will it going to hit road transport? What are the recommonded clothes? PLease reply. Sorry, I can’t help you with Manali, But I was in Shimla last February and it snowed and was Very Cold. Take Plenty of Warm clothes and suitable boots. I would also recommend taking The Toy Train from Kalka to Shimla, This has to be rated as one of the top 10 train journeys in the world and it would be a shame to miss it !! I have photographed both Shimla in the Snow and The Toy Train from Kalka on my India page, You might want to look at them ??
