I've just come back from Ladakh - not like the rest of India - less hassle - good time. I finished in Amritsar which turned out to be the perfect end to the trip.
I remember seeing a gompa up on a mountainside on the left hand side of the road when travelling up towards the Tanglang La pass, well after leaving the Indus Valley - I believe in the Kyammar Lungpa river valley. I tried to take a photo of it, but it came out blurred. Does anyone know what it's called (sortly before human habitation stopped at 4,000 m) and has anyone a clear picture of it?
