How long does it take to hike to Devil's Postpile?? I know that we have to take the shuttle bus.But once we get there,how long does it take to get there? And also we plan to hike down to Rainbow Falls. I was just wondering how long does it take to hike to both places in the course of a day?
From where the shuttle drops you off it is only about a 1/2 mile, easy trail. Going on to Rainbow falls is a couple more miles but the trail is easy. This all can be done in about a 1/2 day if you go back out the way you went in. I have heard though you can hike out the Rainbow falls trail where there is another bus stop. I haven't done it this way so can't speak how long that would be. Could make the day shorter for you.
