I would like to know if anyone has visited Mammoth Lakes in the month of June?? I am planning to visit Mammoth Lakes area in June. Wondering what can i expect that time of year???
They are keeping the Mountain open for skiing thru May 31. In June it will still be in the low 40's at night, but can get fairly warm during the day. The buses to Devils Postpile should be running and there should be patches of snow around at the upper elevations. There is excellent hiking. There are many local sporting goods places that can provide local maps and easy direction to trail heads where there are great day hikes. Boating activities at Lake Mary. Karl
