do u have to book in 2 hours b4 flight with Ryanair (early morning one) back to uk, also how much is early am transfer to airport(approx), thanks.
Ryanair website / booking& ticket reservation should provide that information - along with all the stuff about baggage allowmances etc. Usually - if your flight is 6am - check in will be 4am. Cost of taxi wil depend entirely on distance from your starting point - hotel/apartment - whatever and any extra charges that may be applied by taxi firm for early departures. I would enquire, get a quote and perhaps even book one on arrival.

Imo, it is *always* sensible to be at the airport 2 hours before departure, whether you are flying with Ryanair or not. Even if you have no hold baggage (and check-in queues can be very long) you have no idea how long it will take to get through security, and when Ryanair say if you're late they won't wait they mean it. How much a transfer will cost depends entirely on where you are based in Malta. You can check timetables for the airport bus routes here; arriva.com.mt/airport-cirkew... The X4 from Valletta, for example, will get you to the airport for 0600.

If your flight requires check-in before the bus service starts (or if you are staying somewhere not served by the express airport buses) then it's best to google 'malta airport transfer', get some quotes and then pre-book. The further you are from Luqa airport the more it will cost, of course. I understand the airport is open 24 hours (though am not 100% sure, of course, as things can and do change). So you might consider a late bus and an uncomfortable few hours in the airport rather than fork out for a transfer. sleepinginairports.net/europ...
