It is possible to find a 3-bedroom house in Malibu available for rent (budget is around3000/week) for two weeks in September or October? An ocean-view is preferred.
That seems pretty optimistic for ocean view. In the summer rents are40,000 to120,000 per month and on up, especially for short-term (ie less than a month) rentals. September/October should be a bit better, but I still think 3000/week is not likely, but you never know. I'd suggest contacting all realtors in the area who do property management. If something hasn't rented, you might get something quite reasonable at the last minute. There are trailer parks at Point Dume and Paradise Cove with views. I don't know if they allow rentals, but if so you might find something there. Good luck!
