Hi, I am going tomorrow to Malgrat de Mar and wonder what is the best and cheaper way to travel from Barcelona Sants to Blanes. Are there family tickets? I am going with my wife and 2 children (15 and 7 years old).

Hi all, My boyfriend & I are going to Malgrat de Mar on 21st October for a week. Looking at various sites, seems it may be in the 20/21/22 degrees during this time? Any residents of Malgrat help me on what to expect? Is it sunbathing on the beach weather? Also, i've read some awful reviews of Malgrat today :-( Which is very disappointing. People saying that its very touristy & as such, there are no traditional Spanish restaurants, just pizza, burger & chips English eateries!! I hope that is not true! I certainly do not go on holiday to eat English food. Reassurance would be fab, if anyone can provide me with any ... Thanks so much! Emma

Hey, is there any play parks for young kids in Malgrat de Mar, also things like crazy golf etc things to keep the kids occupied, I cant find much info on this resort I am visiting soon with a friend and her young child, trying to find things to keep young child happy.

Hi I'm off to Malgrat on week beginning 31st July and would like to catch the barcelona-espanyol football match while I'm there. This starts at 21:45 and is in the Barcelona Olympic Stadium. Be grateful if anyone could tell me if there's any chance of public transport back to Malgrat after this match - I've searched the train timetables online bu they seem to stop at 2300 from Barcelona? thanks

Hello everyone, my wife and I will to Malgrat De Mar this summer. I was wondering if someone can give us some info on how to check how early and late we can catch a train to and from Barcelona. We are planning to fly to Madrid for a couple of days, but I don't know if we can to the airport in Barcelona for the early flights. I'll appreciate any helpful tips. Thanks.

Hi I am taking my 3 year old daughter in late may (18th) to htop planamar in Malgrat. Can anyone shine any light on what the beach is like there (sand etc) and if I will be able to purchase nappies there along with what to expect weather wise please. Kind regards Stuart

I am going on holiday with my wife to Malgrat de Mar Spain (near Lloret de Mar). I can only get basic holiday insurance for her, due to her heart problems. Hopefully she will be ok. Can any one tell me were the nearest State Hospital (NHS) is to Malgrat de Mar, so I can use her E111 card if she takes ill.

Hi! We are going to Malgrat de Mar next month and are going to see Barcelona - Osasuna at Camp Nou. The time hasn't been scheduled yet, and I was wondering how to get back to Malgrat if the game starts at 21.00 as the last train back to Malgrat leaves about 22.30 from Barcelona.

can anyone advise me on accessing the train timetable for the Magrat train,I have tried the spanish rail website but cannot find the Magrat station listed,or Blanes either.Is there a website for this rail line? The only bus company that I can find is SARFA.com running between Girona airport and Magrat via Blanes.Is there a local transport link between Magrat and Tossa or LLoret de Mar?

We are arriving for a holiday on 24 June 2008 (San Juan). I believe this is a public holiday so will the buses be running as usual or will we have to make alternative arrangements? Our flight will be landing at 16.25. If the buses are running normally, can anyone tell me how far it is from the bus station to Quintasol hotel (Passieg Maritim) and directions from the bus station if possible please? Is it too far to walk or should we get a taxi? Not been to this resort before and really looking forward to it so any advise/suggestions at all would be gratefully received. Thanks

We are going by a coach holiday so would need to find alternative arrangements to get there.
