6 mnths validity of passport / last speedboat transfer from Haven/paradise ?

I am leaving on 15th may to maldives and my departure is on 23rd may, my passport expires on 21st nov 10, will this create a problem, also is the 6 months calculated from departure date or arrival date? Please help Am planning to book the 8 nights package in Paradise with 1 night in haven , my flight leaves at 8.30 on 23rd, does haven/paradise do complementary late checkouts? also any idea when is the last speedboat transfer from Haven/paradise ?
