Transfer from Malcesine to Florence

We are staying at Malcesine for a week in September then travelling onto Florence for a few days. Can anybody assist with best method of transfer ie hire a car or public transport and how long this journey would take. Many thanks Andy & Nicky

    Again, I try an answer without doing deep research, but.... first take a look here iloveverona.eu/lang1/index.h... the best way to reach Florence is from Malcesine to Verona ATV pubblic transport. From Verona to Florence train, which stop downtown Florence.

    The easiest way is bus to Verona (direct to the train station) and then one of the 3 direct fast trains (AV frecciargento) a day. Details on bus on my Torri del benaco page (transportation tips) Ciao Francesco
