Hi all...flying into Milan in a few weeks and renting a car...what is the best route to drive from Linate Airport to Malcesine? How long will it approx take and are the roads mostly motorway? Many thanks :-)
Hy, Distance is around 220km (190km on motorways), time 2-2 1/2 hours, depending on traffic. It's easy to get to Malcesine: When you exit from the airport, you must follow indications to A51,ORIO AL SERIO, TANGENZIALE EST, E70, A4, VENEZIA. After 20km follow to A4, VENEZIA, ORIO AL SERIO and enter in motorway. You must drive until VERONA then follow indications A22, BRENNERO. Drive until AFFI (motorway exit) then follow to BARDOLINO, GARDA and MALCESINE. The motorway toll will be around 10.00€ Hope this helps Ciao, Marco
