Anyone knows the name of the yellow bus that goes from Jurong East or Kranji MRT to JB? Does it operate frequently? or is it better to take a public bus from Woodlands into JB customs?
Hi Chery, The best way is the yellow Causeway Link bus that links Singapore to JB at the terminals you mentioned. You can actually use that bus directly to KL and beyond if you wanted to. It is really cheap either way. Hope this helps, Joey

Just to be more clear. The name of the yellow bus is "Causeway Link" and it operates pretty often. It drops you off on the Singapore side of customers so you can exit and then you get back on the bus to cross the causeway and it drops you off again at JB customs where you can get a taxi to get into the city or walk if it is day time.

The buses in Malaysia are really really comfortable so it only takes about 5 hours to get to KL. It isn't really that tiring at all. If you have to go directly to KL I'd suggest it otherwise a night in JB is not a bad idea!

There are express buses directly from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. I have taken one that uses the Second Link (instead of the Causeway). But you pay more in Singapore dollars. Have also taken bus from JB (Larkin Station). Used the MRT to Woodlands MRT Station and took the MRT bus to cross the causeway directly to JB downtown and another bus to Larkin Station. At Larkin Station, you buy the ticket at Malaysian ringgit and so it is much cheaper. Coming from JB to Singapore, the MRT or causeway bus goes to Kranji MRT Station.
