HI again, this is related to my previous question - Once long ago in the Bay Area I had the privilege of hearing Birol Topaloglu play, and I have since dreamed of hearing more such music in its native habitat. At the end of the concert we asked him when would be a good time to visit, and he said that in August there are lots of weddings - Does anyone know where, when festivals will be taking place - I imagine most include music and dance - the Eastern Black Sea region? and more specifically, the Laz music and dance? does anyone know if the hop on hop off bus will be running the full route in Istanbul? I will be there in a week or so and think it might be a safer way of seeing some of the sights in the protest area?

Hi, any recommendations for brunch in antalya?

Hi everyone,
We are looking to hire a driver to pick us up (and return us) to the Kayseri airport, as well as taking us to several sites around the Cappadocia area for one full day (early morning to evening.) If anyone has used a private driver, can you suggest them? Alternatively, I am thinking we might rent a car, though I'm not sure about driving in that area. I'm not so good with narrow winding roads :)

We'll fly to Kayseri airport early in the morning (July), returning to Istanbul the same night, and are hoping to either find a tour or hire an all-day taxi or private driver to help us tour the Cappadocia area.

Any suggestions? Is there a public transportation option for doing this in case we can't hire a driver? Many thanks in advance.

is there a lot of taxis on the streets in side can you just flag them down? do they still operate late at night?

im staying for a week in july staying in sun city apartments its 2mile walk to centre our taxis plentiful on an evening to get back to hotel avoiding the walk?
