looking for an agency

by fusune7 Online Now Mar 6, 2013 at 7:02 AM

The renfe and alsa websites cannot process my purchases. For some reason they cannot get authorization for my credit cards (which are fine and work elsewhere) Does anyone know of a local , dependable agency WHO can sort out our transfers? Thanks a million.

    As I do not know where you are from and it is rare for anyone in Europe to have problems, this is a comprehensive guide to all things RENFE addressing all known trials and tribulations and provides alternative agencies -

    What country do you live in? Look at this page ->
    renfe.com/viajeros/viajes_in...

    This page lets you find Renfe points of sale in 17 countries, meaning that you could buy your ticket through them... (can you read Spanish well enough to follow the page? If not, use
    renfe.com/EN/viajeros/viajes...
    )

    I hate to say this..because I always advise folk to buy tickets through the official railway websites for the relevant country.....but if you continue to have issues I suggest you try

    http://www.raileurope.com/

    Raileurope is only a ticketing agency but it is reputable and long-established and set up to deal with purchaser from all over the world.

    Yes, it is...it does not automatically list all departures and charges admin fees. Of course; it is a ticketing agency and must make its profit in order to survive.

    As I said...'if you continue to have issues'....I offered it as a solution if no other site would accept the poster's card and online booking was essential, nothing more.

    movelia is moving in into an all bus rental site in Spain just like RENFE is for trains. It takes time there....
