Hi all. What type of clothes are cheaper in the Philippines than anywhere else? I hear that Guess and Levi's jeans are cheap. I would rather buy brands that are known internationally. I do need a pair of board shorts, and my girlfriend needs some swimwear too. Any suggestions on where to go to get decent brands at relatively cheap prices? (for example, what might a pair of Billabong or Volcom or Rip Curl or... board shorts go for?) Or if there are any GOOD Filipino brands, I'm good for that too... I'll be staying in Makati near Ayala Glorietta. Are there any nearby stores you would recommend I visit? Thanks! Kevin
Prices for REAL Guess or Levi's would be fairly same in every major parts of the world. Be wary when the same would be sold as cheap. Anyway, since you will be staying near Glorrieta, you might as well spend a day exploring for your shopping.

Guess jeans are about 75% cheaper than same jeans at Guess stores in US.These are real jeans at the Guess stores in the malls.Levi's are about the same as a sale price in US.At Gorita 4 theres a Quicksilver/Bilabong store the prices are about the same as in the US. Guess Gap brands are made in the Philippines so they are cheaper anything imported is sometimes higher.Oakley sunglasses are about 500.US compared to 200.00 in the US.This is for real brand name cloths.If you want fake they have everything Nike shoes about 6.00 and they look and wear the same as 150.00 Nikes in the US.DVD's anything you want.Get on the train and head to Recto for cheap fake everything.
