When travelling to Majorca, can you take in any food?

Hello, Anyone know if there are any lockers at the beaches in Mallorca? I am flying from Barcelona for the day, and did not want to leave my valuables lying around in the beach.

Me and my boyfriend are 19 and 23 and wanting to go away to Majorca in August for our 4 year anniversary for 7-10 days. I've been to Alcudia about 5 times and Love it but want to try somewhere different!

We want somewhere with nice restaurants and bars as we love eating out and sangria! Needs to be a nice beach and within a distance of days out and things to do.. any suggestions would be really helpful.

Oh and NO MAGALUF!

Where and how is the best way to rent an apartment in Majoca in August?

Hey , i am planing to visit Majorca with my friends, and i was wondering if there are any activities, attractions open in this dates. i heard that in the winter there is not much, yet i believe there has to be some movement around the island during winter. do you know of anything ? thanks, any recommendations ? I'm planing to have my honeymoon in Spain and will be going for sure to Majorca. i came across some marvelous villas there for rent with a nice pool, but the problem here is that I'm not sure if the weather in Majorca in April are good for swimming. i need your help folks if i should do more search on villas with heated pools or i should go with just any villa if the weather will serve me for practicing swimming. it'll be much appreciated.

Hi, I'm looking to visit Majorca in late September, and have found a lovely looking little guesthouse called C'an Isabel in Soller. I will be travelling alone, and don't really want to hire a car, but I'm also a lover of early 20th century means of travel and I would love to travel on the beautiful wooden Palma-Soller train. I've looked it up online, but while the prices and timetable is clear, it doesn't tell me how long the train takes to reach Soller from Palma, or how long it takes to get the the station from the airport. This is vital information as I don't want to miss my plane/train, or arrive too late at the guesthouse. Can anyone give me any information on this, or any other aspect of my proposed trip please? Hey guys, myself and 2 mates have decided to head to Magalluf at start of June, and was hoping to get any advice on where is good to stay. We are looking for a lively spot where there is a good party atmosphere. If you have had any experiences in Magalluf any info would be great, cheers.

we will have 4 full days in May, we wont have a car so what's the most convinient area to stay and use public buses? We plan to spend the first 2 days in Palma and then check some other areas of the island. Is it better to stay 4 days in Palma or just 2 and then use another town as a base for the last 2 days? any suggestion what can we see away from Palma in 2 days?

Am planning a holiday to Majorca and would like to know a couple of things regarding the bus services that serve this lovely island.(Am NOT interested in car hire!!) In particular does anyone know of, or have a link, to the prices charged for 1) Santa Ponsa to Palma 2) Palma to the airport. I have a link for the timetables but no idea of prices. I also understand that you can purchase a "discount card"? that enables you a reduction for fares on the buses throughout the island. I would like an idea how much journies will be from one destination to another Many thanks

I am renting a house in Fornalutx for a month in August. Can you advise if it is necessary to hire a car to get around or should I reply on the local taxi's?

I visited Mallorca some years ago. I went to Valldemossa, Deia, Soller, Alcudia and to some other places. This time I'd like to visit some other nice villages Could you recommend some? I was thinking abou Inca and Galilea...

Is this area far from Alcudia? Can I easily go there by foot from that town?

I see from the maps that the roads that lead North from Cala Bona stop at the headland just past Son Jordi. They resume at the other side at Costa De Canyamel. Is that headland accessible to walkers? (ideally pushing a bicycle!) or is it private? The headland further South between Cala Millor and S'Illot has footpaths all over it - I wondered if this headland was the same? Thanks

Has anyone been to Santa Ponsa? What's it like for me and my granddaughter (age 20) to go on holiday?

This is our first trip to Majorca and we will arrive by ferry in May. Palma seems the obvious place to stay, but we plan to rent a car for the couple of days we are there, so would be open to other locations as well. We are a middle aged couple...any suggestions as to where to stay? We are only there two days, so any suggestions as to what is best to see during that time would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, may you know if it is possible to rent a small camper there. not with toilette and so an, like a VW T5 with sleeping option (jucy.co.nz/vehicles/jucy-cri.... I am there from Nov 5-7 and want to explore the island, but a bit comfortabel and not in a hotel. I just need to have a good sleep and be free do decide where. Cheers, Nina
