Is the Columbus bar/pub still in existence? Was there in 1967 and loved it!

Hello! My husband and I would like to make a day trip to Bamberg from Munich this weekend, either Saturday or Sunday. But we are wondering if it's okay to do so now as there were floods earlier this month? Is the city still affected by it? Or would a trip be possible?

Hi, coming to hamburg in a few weeks time and just wondered if there were any good areas that have bars with outdoor areas to enjoy the beer and weather? Beers gardens etc. Thanks

Next month of October i shall visit Bremen, Lubecca, Hamburg by car and would prefer to park my car outside the city.

Are you able to do tandem jumps off the mountain still I did it a few years ago and would love to do it again and so would my partner, can you still just go to the ski lift and meet the guy`s there and pay for a jump? and if so how mdoes it cost?

We'll be flying to Berlin in late September and staying in Germany for 2 1/2 weeks. We plan to spend a week in Berlin, preferably in an apartment. I can't do too many stairs, so am looking for a place either with an elevator, or no higher than the 2nd floor (1st floor European). We'll be doing the usual tourist things in the city--I was there for a couple of days 10 years ago, but it will be my husband's first time in Berlin. My questions are:

1. What's a better location for tourists,Prenz-Lauerberg, Kurfersterdamm, Alexanderplatz or somewhere else? We are no longer young hipsters but do enjoy old and gritty with lots to do. We are not shoppers.

2. Any apartment recommendations?

We are 3 adults and one kid, planning to go to black forest from Amsterdam. Its an unplanned one and we wanted to go next week june 6 and stay there for 3 nights. Can some one please suggest a country side farmhouse/apartment where its nice, warm calm and pleasant? Would prefer more green!!

how much does a pass for a hole month cost

I would appreciate an indication of the taxi fare to & from the Hauptbahnhof to Schloss Stolzenfels on a Saturday afternoon. Would ther be any difficulty in getting a taxi back to Koblenz?

Hi, before taking the decision to rent this apartmenrt i would be very much interested if anyone knowing well this area of Berlin can inform me if it is easy to park in this street ( from Google map I saw a lot of cars parked) and if in the street or very nearby there is some bakery shop and food market. My boyfriend and I would like to spend a month in Berlin. Our goal is to improve the language ( my knowledgle of german is very poor, I must admit it) and get to know the city and culture a nit closer than during couple day stay. We've taken into consideration summer course of german, but it might be way to expensive. Is there any way to catch a seasonal job for only a one month? Do you recommend any low-costed kind of accomodation?

Will be stopping at Rostock for one day (Celebrity Cruise) and would you recommend going with a tour group for $80 pp (5 hours), which also goes to Warnemuende, or just going on our own walking tour to see the sites. We decided not to take the 6hr train ride to Berlin based on everyone's negative comments.
