I read something that the previous government had closed the Valle de los Caidos site where Franco's tomb is. Is it still closed?

You need to check when you are in Madrid to get the most up to date info-lots of discussion about it!Very sensitive/emotional issues! I personally see no value in visiting it!

Valley of the Fallen has reopened after two years. We were there on June 24 and saw Franco's tomb.
