Madrid Atocha Station

by Mnavarro Online Now Jul 2, 2012 at 11:13 AM

We are taking the AVE train from Madrid to Barcelona and would like to leave luggages in storage at the Atocha Train Station in Madrid. Does anyone know if the Atocha Station has an area or lockers where you can leave luggages and for how much? Or do you have any suggestion? Your input will be very much appreciated.

There is no doubt Puerta de Atocha has a left luggage facility open 0545 to 2215. I cannot help you with the cost.

The luggage locker's area is in the old part of the station, the "tropical garden" shopping/dinning area. Look for "consigna". I have left there my bags a few times. I can't remember the exact prices but they were average for this kind of service in Spain (a few € per day, more or less depending the size of the lockers)

We did find the Consigna area at the Atocha Station and left our luggage there. Thank you so much for your input. I appreciate it.
