Hi, yesterday evening I tried to buy a bus ticket from Madrid international Airport to Pamplona with Movelia. I filled in all the necessary information and successfully passed 4 steps, but couldn't pay the ticket, because the system did not accept the payment. I tried to pay at least 50 times with three different bank cards!!!! What could be a problem??? I payd on Internet for the plane ticket to Madrid and for the hotel in Pamplona without any problems. Now I worry to have a seat on a bus. Could You give me a helping hand in question? Thank You in advance.
Don't know which country your credit cards are from but it may be that Movelia, for some reason, just doesn't like them! Airlines and hotels are more geared up to 'international' cards. Sorry not to be supplying a more constructive response....

As I clicked, I had another thought - your cards haven't expired before the date of travel, have they?

Don´t panic. I am pretty sure that Madrid and Pamplona has good connections, so you will have a seat(unless you plan to go on July 7th, San Fermin). Have you tried to contact the bus company via e-mail? Maybe they can help you..or even the telephone(if you can use a cheap international tarif). There must be trains too. Good luck.

Not sure if you are having any other issue - but have you tried alsa.es? I have purchased tickets there and they do have a bus from the airport to Pamplona - I did not have any issues. Also, sometimes a credit card company will block the credit card if they think it's a fraudulent purchase, I've had it happen when buying international tickets - so I would give your preferred credit card company a call first - a Visa is what I used before.

Thanks a lot! I bought the ticket at last through ALSA, paying PAYPAL. My bank informed me that all my previous tries were not even registered.I believe it was some technical problem.

I arrive to Madrid on the 05th of May with RyanAir from Budapest, in the evening change for a bus to Pamplona, have a night there and move to Roncesvalles to start my first El Camino pilgrimage to Santiago.

Do you know where to take the bus? www.alsa.es/en/buy-and-schedules/airports/madrid-barajas/?searchType=airport It seems that you have to go to T4 from T1 (where Ryanair operates at).
