We are taking the AVE train from Madrid to Barcelona with a stop in Zaragoza. Does anyone know the configuration of the seats in the Preferente or Club class? We are looking for single row, 2 seats facing each other by the window similar to TGV's first class from Paris to Lourdes. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
the renfe site shows the madrid-barcelona service running on an AVE 103 at renfe.com/EN/empresa/comunic... and the seating plan at renfe.com/flash/S-103bar/ave.... It doesn't say it how the seats are configured but I'd guess 7A / 8A and 13A / 14A are the configuration you want in Club, and 16A / 17A in Preferente
