My huband and I will be on a cruise stopping at Maderia in December. What is the chance that we may see dolphins, whales and/or sealions, please?
hi there we were there in jan so chances of seeing dolphins are very good ,common dolphin anyway,but you need to go on a special boat trip really as the skippers pass on info of sightings and could b 2 3mile out was brill when we did and got great pic of mom and baby was a dream cum true there was about a group of 20 or so,whales???very slim chance, sealions?? no chance at all and in fact there is none only monk seals if you read things can be misled on this,and chances of seeing monk seals???less chance than a whale sighting as they are very rare about 20 i beleave and very scitty and only live on the desertas islands just off madeira,hope the info usefull,if can help any more please ask
