To plan or not to plan...

by Pato79 Online Now Mar 20, 2012 at 9:56 AM

Hi, We are 2 friends visiting Madagascar from the 20th of April to the 5th of May this year. I've always travelled without a full planning but from what a read and see in documentaries it seems like it is a bit difficult to move around the Island. We have been contacting some tour operators and online agencies asking for tours and budgets, but they all seem a bit expensive and not so flexible. We would like to know whether it is ok to just fly and book a tour on Spot. Would that be possible? or do you guys think we won't find anything? Could you pleas recommend any agency or guide contact? I would appreciate you help very much! Thanks a lot. Regards, Jose

Hi Jose, I hope I am not late to reply your question, so When I read your planning trip , You have contacted travel agency and TO.You can choose as you like or when you arrive here. There are some local tour guide who can organise you if you are feeling with travel agency is expensive. In april , it is best time to explore fauna and flora and more easy to find animals and almost landscape are evergreen and no more crowded.I run a tour and organise atour.More sure you can contact a guide in your contry before you arrive in Mada .You can do spot by spot and flexible dyring your trip. regard greenbul

Hi Jose, I want to advise you to hire just a car if the tour operators and travel agency are a bit expensive , try to deal with the owner to make you have a good deal. I want to recommend you one we used when we were there, his price was acceptable , this is his contact details: Mail:fihlusko07@hotmail.com Skype:hlusko7 Good luck!!! Ken
