After reading all the comparisons between Plantation Bay and Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort, can anybody provide me with some up-to-date impressions on the latter?!? So far, opinions vary from 'bad' to 'very good' and it's hard to judge the hotel's quality. Did anyone stay there recently? I'm planning to go there around February... Thanks a lot, Robert
Robert, Plantation Bay is still the best if you talking about Cebu. Places to be are either Puerto Galera in Mindoro, Nasugbu in Batangas, Boracay in Panay Island, Plantation Bay in Cebu, Siargao and Dakak in Mindanao.

I have been Plantation Bay. It is a nice place, but if you are going to spend that kind of money I would suggest you go with the best. Shangra-La, it is fantastic.
