I am trying to find out if there is a TGV from Lyon airport (Aeroport Lyon Saint Exupery) to Avignon for 13.6.07. Some websites say there is and others don't even recognise the airport station. Any help on this would be good. If there is no such train, can I catch a train into Lyon town and then to Avignon or do I need to catch a taxi or bus - hope not as we are travelling from Australia and not looking for too many side trips. Have asked a travel agent and they are no help. Thanks Carey
There is a train staion in the airport, served by TGV (including trains to Avignon) for the time tables lyon.aeroport.fr/fr/Docs/hor... or, for time table and bookings http://www.voyages-sncf.com/ (the british flag is - a bit hiden -on the bottom,left) use " LYON ST EXUPERY TGV" as departure"
