hi there... Where can i go to take picture for 1 day near Luton Airport? (Walking distance) Is it safe at anytime?
Luton is quite safe but the airport is in a pretty industrialised area, unless you like taking those type of photos it will not be much use. St. Albans is only about 10 minutes by train and is quite a nice town. Here is my page on it. You can go into Luton itself but, as noted, it is just an ordinary industrial town (and perfectly safe, of course). You will not be able to walk into the town though.....it's quite some way from the airport. You will ned to take a bus. Otherwise you will only be able to take photos of the airport itself and the nearby industrial estates etc. Not especially interesting, although perfectly safe. St Albans has some interesting history, and would be a pleasant place to visit. www.nationalrail.co.uk will give you train times and fares.
