Place to stay in Lucerne

Hello, We are planning our first European vacation, and is thinking about staying for 3 nights in Lucerne. We will be travelling with our toddler son, so was looking for a place with a kitchenette. If you can recommend a nice bed-and-breakfast or apartment or small hotel, which has beautiful views/scenery, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance, Anna
