Has anyone stayed at Helgon hotel in Lourdes? Is it uphill or downhill from sanctuaries? Any info appreciated, thanks, omax
This hotel is on the side of the river where it goes uphill from the sanctuary. I do not remember how steep but it is in the lower reaches of the hill. The hotels on the other - the right- side of the river (if you look at the map) are mostly on flat land, and access to the sanctuary is more or less flat. On the left side of the river only the hotels on Ave Peyramale are on flat land.
