How to Get Lourdes from Barcelona? By Train, bus or car

I find it inefficient to get from Barcelona to Lourdes by train. As I do it by train, I need to change the train twice. I am now considering to rent a car and pick it up from Barcelona and then drive it to Lourdes and drop it off there. As it is a one-way rental and I prepare to pay for at most two days' rental to make the deal. Does anyone know how can I rent a car and do the commutting? Many thanks!
