New Year's in Louisiana

Hello everyone, We'll be spending the Christmas Break in New Orleans and surrounding area. We were looking for somewhere we can spend a quiet New Year's -- we're not into partying. Looking for a charming small town or something off-the-beaten path in Louisiana or Mississipi that would have some low-key celebrations. I was thinking of Natchez, Vicksburg, or Natchitoches; hoping there might be some other ideas out there .... Thanks!!
