i will be travelling to north america by 25th apr. however, i can only squeeze 2 days in los angelas... yeah... i know... wat a shame... i will be spending 28th in disney and 29th following a tour to hollywood, berverly hilss and universal studio from tours4fun. i will be travelling with my husband and of course my 2 yr old daughter. can anyone recomend to me where to stay? how do i get to disneyland? is there any train or tram available? the pick up location for the tour will be ard anaheim, buena park, orange and garden grove. please advise as i have no idea how to travel around and how is the town like... thanks
Where are you flying into? LAX, or John Wayne (Orange County, airport code SNA)? LAX is quite a ways from the Disney area. I would try to stay around Anaheim. Best bet is to do a combination of search on tripadvisor.com - but also check Google Maps so you can see exactly where the hotel is, as some hotels claim to be closer to some areas, and will even name their hotel to sound like they are in an area that they really are not. But look at the towns near Anaheim, and I would also recommend, assuming you don't have a car (not sure) - that you find a hotel with a free shuttle to Disney and close to your tour pickup.

Another thing you could do, assuming you have not paid for your tour, is email the hotel you are considering and ask them if they arrange for the same or similar tour - then they can pick you up right at your hotel. There are many similar tours available.

HI, thanks for your guide... i will be flying to LAX and will be totally relying on public transport. i can see that anaheim will be the most practical place to stay, but is it far from town? i was thinking that we may spend some time in the famous town itself. wonder is it difficult to get to the town from anaheim? or if i want the feel the real LA, i shud be staying at the town itself?
