Hi!! is there any bus from Lopburi to sukothai? timetables? We want to go from Ayutthaya to Lopburi, spend some hours there, and then go to Sukothai because we have the hotel there, do you think is posible? Thank you very much!!!
There are buses from anywhere in Thailand and you can make connections - don't worry. Additionally, you can take the train from Lop Buri to Sukothai: http://www.seat61.com/Thailand.htm Watch out for the monkeys when you're in Lop Buri, especially within the tample. I was attacked by a group of monkeys and they stole my glasses! Homer

Yes, be careful of the monkeys there, hold on to your camera, hat and wallet!!! I would take the train to Phitsanaluk then continue by bus (1 hour, 70 kms)as there is no train station at Sukhothai. From Ayutthaya there is a train every hour and a bus every 20 minutes to Lopburi. Lopburi to Sukhothai by bus, you must also change in Phitsanaluk. Second thoughts do the whole trip by bus as the Phitsanaluk bus station is a little out of the way so you would not have to get a tuk tuk from train station to bus station.
