Hi guys! I’m planning to travel to London by the end of May and I looking for a Hostel. I saw in the EMF (Europeans Famous Hostels) the St. Christopher’s Ins and Village. Someone have any reference about it or have another to recommend me? Thanks you in advance!!

the YHA hostels seem pretty nice.. I stayed at two of them and liked both.. and there are several of them in popular areas of London. a few of them are.. YHA City of London YHA Earl's Court YHA Holland House YHA Hampstead Health hostelworld.com has all of them listed and you can check out specifics about any hostel and see user ratings. i think hostels.com is another site that does this.

I've stayed in St Christophers Inn in 2002 and enjoyed it. The location isn't as central as The Piccadilly, but it is an easy walking distance (three or four blocks)to the South Bank area, Southwark Cathedral, The Globe and the Tower Bridge, and very close to the Borough tube stop. The rooms and the service were standard-- nothing to write home about, but no complaints, either. That said: The entrance to the Inn is a few feet down an alley, which I remember not liking (but it wouldn't have bothered me if I hadn't been coming home late and alone.) Also, the showers (push button with clingy curtains) left much to be desired. Lastly, no secure storage for luggage if you arrive before check-in-- although you can leave your stuff in the huge unattended pile under the staircase in the downstairs pub. No one took my stuff...but that's just luck. In all, if you don't mind a little more noise and a little less atmosphere, you might consider The Piccadilly Hotel. For about the same price, you are right in the middle of the West End in a very professional (and security-happy) high-rise.
