Driving to Lom from Solovorn and from Lom to Lillehammer in July. Any scenic drive tips would be most appreciated. We are not timid drivers. Thanks.
From Lom to Solvorn: Two options: 1)Rv 55, Sognefjellsvegen. The highest mountainpass in Northern Europe. 2)Gamle Strynefjellsvegen from to Stryn. Then Rv 15 to Byrkjelo (with a detour to Briksdalsbreen glacier?). Continue on E39 to Skei, RV 5 to Sogndal and then your last leg to Solvorn. From Lom to Lillehammer: For a scenic drive, I’ll recommend Valdresflya Rv 51, to Fagernes. Continue on E 16, RV 33 and RV 250 to Lillehammer. (I hope I got all the numbers right).
