We are going to London and Liverpool, 2 adults and 2 children, and staying in Liverpool until Sunday Agust 22nd. Our flight is leaving from Stansted Airport at 4 PM and our problem/question is: How do we get from Liverpool to Stansted Airport in time for our flight? I am not familiar with the ways of travel in UK and would appreciate help with this- we would like to have this sorted out before we leave. Thanks!! Torunn
Hi Torunn Assuming you want to get to Stansted by 2pm then http://www.nationalexpress.com gives the following: Leave Liverpool Coach Station at 6:30am arrive London Victoria Coach Station 11:35am and then get the 12:15pm arriving at Stansted at 1:57pm. For £30 per adult, £15 per child. By train http://www.thetrainline.com : Catch the 8:35am train from Liverpool Lime Street and then the tube from Euston to Tottenham Hale where you can pick up the train to Stansted at 12:26pm arriving at Stansted Airport at 12:57pm This will cost a total of £297 for all 4 of you. I think the best option is to use the coach. Andrew.

Sorry I gave you wrong info.:-( Coach leaves at 6:45am, same time from Victoria, same arrival time at Stansted. Same cost of £90 for all of you. Train is not possible. You can't get an early enough train from Liverpool to get you to Stansted on time. So I stand by my opinion of coach is best :-) Andrew

Thanks for your help! I ordered at nationalexpress.com, leaving from Liverpool at 0645, arriving in London at 1135, leaving for Stansted at 1200 and arriving at 1342. That should give us just enough time atthe airport before our flight leaves at 1605 :-) Thanks!

By the way, we paid £99 for round trip tickets London-Liverpool and single tickets for London-Stansted, 2 adults and 2 children. That's not bad, is it?

Train is best, try Qjump website. If you go by Birmingham it should only involve the change of one train. You will also find it much cheaper than going via london

Tried it. No less than 3 changes and the prices was many times higher. Thanks anyway :-D
